Supervisory Board Reviews the 2026–2031 Strategic Plan, Self-Assessment Tool, and Organizational Development Plan
On August 16, 2026, the Supervisory Board of NGO "Ave Team" held its first meeting. The meeting was held remotely via Zoom, and was the first since the Supervisory Board was established this past May.
The Chairperson of the Organization submitted three documents for the Supervisory Board's review:
- Strategic Plan for 2026–2031 — sets out the organization's core directions for the next five years: financial strategy, fundraising goals, and a monitoring and evaluation plan;
- Organizational Capacity Self-Assessment Tool — a diagnostic of the organization's current level of development across governance, financial management, partnerships, service delivery, impact, and safety;
- Individual Organizational Development Plan (OD Plan) — concrete steps to strengthen the weak points identified by the self-assessment.
The Supervisory Board issued a positive opinion on all three documents. At the same time, drawing on the Organization's Statute, the Board members distinguished how each should proceed toward final approval: decisions on the organization's core directions and strategic plans fall within the exclusive competence of the General Meeting (clause 5.3.5.1 of the Statute), so the Strategic Plan was recommended for approval by the General Meeting. The Self-Assessment Tool and the OD Plan are current working documents (clause 5.4.3.4 of the Statute) and were recommended for approval directly by the Chairperson of the Organization.
