Launch of the Ave Team Open Document Archive

One of our core values is openness and transparency. After all, our organisation exists thanks to the people around it — from volunteers working to achieve the organisation's statutory goals, to donors and grantors who fund the work of its hired staff. That is why we believe you should have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the organisation's internal processes — namely, with all of its current documentation.

That is why, as part of our updated organisational website, we are launching an open document archive.

The archive provides access to all of the organisation's current documents, automatically sorted by type and in chronological order. Documents are sorted into the following categories: versions of the Charter; policies and regulations; memorandums; minutes of governing body meetings; member applications; responses to applications and appeals; orders; appeals; certificates of appreciation; confirmation letters; other organisational documents.

The following are not published on the website: applications for membership in the Organisation; contracts of any kind containing confidential terms; any preliminary arrangements with potential employees, volunteers, and partners; documents related to the Organisation's bank accounts; extracts from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Public Formations of Ukraine; descriptions of documents submitted by the applicant for state registration or for updating registration data; as well as notifications of the refusal or success of such registration actions.

Every document has a creation date and, where applicable, a sequential identifier. A document's page includes the document's title, document type, creation date, format (physical paper document or electronic document with a digital signature), notes (a brief description) and, where applicable, a sequential identifier, author, the party the document concerns, and downloadable files.

Electronic documents are provided for download as a file without an electronic signature applied. Some documents may be redacted: personal data removed; data on organisation members referred to under pseudonyms removed; sensitive information about the organisation's plans hidden; the organisation's address (due to its location in an area of possible military action and corresponding redaction in state registers); and data that third parties or organisations may request to have hidden. If disclosing a document could harm the safety of the organisation's members, the document may be blocked from download or even hidden from the list entirely.

Every letter of gratitude and confirmation letter issued on behalf of the organisation contains a QR code linking to that document's page in the open document archive, providing an additional marker of the document's authenticity.

Publication of documents is governed by Regulations on Transparency, Publication and Verification of Documentation of the NGO Ave Team, which you can review within the open document archive itself.
