Ave Team at Let's NGO Weekends 2026: Networking, Project Presentations, and the Voice of the Community

Ave Team attended the Let's NGO Weekends 2026 networking event, held on the outskirts of Lviv. Throughout the event, we rested, recharged, connected with like-minded people, and took shelter from the rain and the sparks of the bonfire.

We had arranged in advance to join the protests taking place on Svobody Avenue upon our arrival in Lviv. These protests called for the reinstatement of former Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov to his position, as well as the resignation of former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. We joined the rally on the day of our departure, Sunday, despite four days packed with events and presentations for potential partners.

During the event, we told colleagues from all corners of Ukraine about our work, goals, and needs. We presented our fairy-tale characters, the Crimean Tatar and Belarusian Latin keyboard layouts, and materials from the exhibition "Donetsk Region: Unbroken and Undefeated" as part of the Ave Digital Museum, dedicated to the entrance stelae of Donetsk region.

The audience was warm, generous with compliments and advice. Civic activists were eager to share their own stories and projects. Not to mention the incredible surge of energy and motivation — all thanks to the community.

Of course, this wasn't our only goal: we can confidently say the communication was a success. We can't share the details just yet, but we'll be glad to announce everything in future updates.
